  • This HBA is built on the Broadcom/LSI SAS3008 controller (SAS3 12Gb/s) and is compatible with LSI 9300-8i for homelab and NAS storage. It is flashed to HBA IT Mode (Non-RAID) for clean passthrough—ideal for ZFS and JBOD workflows.
  • Host interface is PCIe 3.0 x8, with 2× internal Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) connectors providing 8 internal ports. Supports up to 12Gb/s SAS and 6Gbps SATA link rates, and you can scale larger arrays via a SAS Expander/backplane as needed. Included in the box: 1× HBA card and 2× SFF-8643 to 4× SATA breakout cables (8 SATA ends total).
